The Terrace Club Opens for 55-Plus Residents
Foremost Companies has opened The Terrace Club at Terramor, its new multigenerational master-planned community at 11750 Temescal Hills Drive in Riverside County’s Temescal Valley, California. Exclusively for 55-plus residents, the Terrace Club features a six-acre outdoor recreational area with a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse.
The Terrace Club offers a resort-style pool with surrounding cabanas, an indoor saltwater pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, and bocce ball and pickleball courts. Locker rooms are equipped with saunas. The Living Room, crafts room, and other multipurpose rooms are also part of the amenity.
Steve Cameron, president of Foremost Companies, says in a release from the firm, “The inspiration behind the interior of the club is to make it an extension of residents’ own homes, giving them an alternative place to relax, entertain, and recharge.” Cameron adds that the club’s outdoor area reinforces the community’s emphasis on embracing the region’s natural scenery and encouraging an active lifestyle.
Upon completion, Terramor will include 1,443 single-family homes across sixteen neighborhoods in three phases. Phase one includes six neighborhoods, four of which are specifically dedicated to 55+ buyers. Builders include CalAtlantic Homes A Lennar Company, KB Home, and Del Webb, which are actively selling; and Van Daele Homes, whose neighborhood is under development.
Terramor is located just south of Corona, California, offering immediate freeway access to all of Riverside County. According to the statement, Terramor’s “unique multigenerational community” focuses on nature and active living featuring over five miles of trails and paseos that connect to a broader trail system, providing walking and hiking opportunities for residents. The trails showcase the terrain, rolling trails, and views, while offering shaded rest areas, water access, and restrooms. Numerous other parks and outdoor amenities, including large and small dog parks, community garden, ball fields, basketball courts, and tot lots. In addition, The Veranda, Terramor’s first resort-style recreational club, will provide year-round recreation for residents of all ages.
Renovations Completed on 838,300-SF Office Project
Developer Swift Real Estate Partners has completed construction on the redevelopment of the Rancho Vista Corporate Center at 16399 West Bernardo Drive in San Diego, according to a statement from a representative of Ware Malcomb. The latter firm provided architecture, interior design and branding services for the project, and the general contractor is Level 10 Construction, the release says.
The statement describes Rancho Vista Corporate Center as “a large amenity-driven corporate campus” that includes class-A office and research-and-development buildings totaling 838,300 square feet on 67.5 acres. The renovation included work on the exteriors, with upgraded landscape and hardscape throughout, as well as upgrading and adding on-site amenities, according to the release.
Amenities include a remodeled conference center, courtyard, and 15,600-square-foot café with an operable glass wall system, as well as a new indoor workout facility, activity center with basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor collaboration areas, and an outdoor dining area with a stretched-fabric canopy, the statement says. It adds that Ware Malcomb’s Branding Studio provided signage design services for the project.
According to the statement, a main goal for the project was to “create site and brand identity with a design that emphasized energy efficiency, with xeriscaping to minimize water use and abundant shaded areas to allow users to utilize the site amenities.”
Tiffany English, Principal of Ware Malcomb’s San Diego office, is quoted in the release as saying that Rancho Vista Corporate Center is “an environment that has quickly attracted a full roster of tenants.”
