Pacific Building Group (PBG) has completed construction on two corporate offices in San Diego: the NuVasive campus at 7475 Lusk Boulevard and Renovate America’s new headquarters at 16409 W. Bernardo Dr. in the Rancho Vista Corporate Center. The total cost of both projects was approximately $21.7 million.
The 24,000-square-foot tenant-improvement project for NuVasive included the creation of an open floor plan with numerous collaboration areas including conference rooms, labs, training rooms, quiet rooms, private offices, and break areas. Completed in cooperation with Hollander Design Group, the improved building will support NuVasive’s employees, who develop minimally disruptive, procedurally integrated solutions for the spine and beyond. The $1.7 million remodel is a part of NuVasive¹s campus expansion, which will also include a new Surgeon Experience Center that Pacific Building Group will construct.
Completed by PBG, architecture firm Gensler, and construction-management firm Gilliland Construction Management, the Renovate America headquarters is now light filled and showcases a blend of soft, earthy materials and sharp lines. Landlord Swift Real Estate Partners spent approximately $20 million on the renovation, which included revamping an existing 150,000-square-foot building¹s interior space and constructing a new 10,000-square-foot café building. The LEED-certified building was also designed, permitted, and constructed in just eight months, while Renovate America occupied the main building.
“We take great pride in serving clients across various industries and working on projects that are diverse in size and scope,” says Jim Roherty, president of PBG. “Each of our clients is paired with a PBG team committed to delivering a project on time, on budget, and beyond expectation.”
