Irvine, California–based ORION Property Partners has added a new Orange County–area brokerage team, formerly with Voit Real Estate Services, to its roster, according to a release from a representative of the firm. The release says the team consists of Carter Harrington as principal, Josh Samuels as associate, and Kelsey McCarthy as senior client coordinator.
According to the source, Harrington formerly served as VP at Voit. He has been in the Orange County commercial real estate industry for more than 11 years, specializing in commercial properties representing both landlords/owners and tenants/buyers. Over the last three years Harrington has completed more than 100 transactions in excess of $85 million.
The source also says Samuels was an associate at Voit. His industry focus has been on Irvine, Santa Ana, Newport Beach, and Costa Mesa office space. McCarthy was previously a senior client coordinator at Voit.
ORION founder Jay Carnahan is quoted as saying, “Carter, Josh, and Kelsey bring their relationship approach and an exciting perspective to office leasing and further add to the quality of our team and firm. They are the beginnings of the next generation of ORION.”
Harrington adds, “This is an exciting time in brokerage as office space is no longer a commodity but an avenue to brand a business as well as retain and attract new talent. We find that today’s tenant is steering away from the coat-and-tie mentality. This means the best landlords work to understand and share the tenant goals and visions for their company.”
