Dwight Hotchkiss has replaced David Illsley as president of Lee & Associates’ three Inland Empire offices based in Riverside, California, and Temecula, California, a representative of the firm reports in a statement. Illsley had been president of those offices since 2009, according to the statement.
Hotchkiss brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new post, the release says, adding that he was president of Colliers’ Brokerage Services USA from 2011 to 2017. He started at Cushman & Wakefield in 1990 and went on to become executive managing director of the company’s industrial business line, senior managing director and branch manager of its Downtown Los Angeles office, and senior managing director of its Western Region U.S. industrial platform, according to the statement.
Lee & Associates’ CEO Jeffrey Rinkov says in the statement that Hotchkiss’s “experience and track record in commercial real estate [are] impressive, and I’m confident he will continue the great work of the former president David Illsley.”
Hotchkiss says in the release that he is excited about his new role and that looks forward to “continuing to grow the talent through training and recruiting.”
As SoCal Real Estate reported in April, a report prepared by Caroline Payan, director of marketing and research of Lee’s Riverside office, found that in the first quarter of 2018, even with a lack of inventory, the market still posted strong activity and gross absorption, according to a statement from a representative of the firm.
