Bosa to Transform 777 Front Street

Carrie Rossenfeld Office

Bosa Development will begin redeveloping a vacant building located at 777 Front Street in Downtown San Diego into a new class-A, 162,000-square-foot office building. The building will be able to accommodate a variety of requirements, ranging from approximately 10,000 square feet to 162,000 square feet of contiguous space. Completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019.

Designed by Joseph Wong Design Associates, the project will involve tearing down the existing building to its steel frame and redeveloping it into an atrium-style creative office building with floor-to-ceiling glass providing natural light. 777 Front Street will also feature large floorplates of 43,000 square feet; a large courtyard amenity space complete with outdoor seating, games and modern landscape; 1.5/1000 parking ratio; and an on-site fitness center with shower and locker facilities. It is adjacent to Horton Plaza, which features retail and restaurants, and is an easy walk to the courthouses, convention center, public transit, hotels, and fine dining.

Leading the leasing efforts at 777 Front Street are Tony Russell, Richard Gonor, and Brandt Riedman of JLL. “The Downtown San Diego office market continues to be highly sought after by thriving businesses,” Russell says. “With this area experiencing a transformation and the lack of quality space available, we expect demand to be high at 777 Front Street.”
