The Casey Brown Company has completed a $3 million renovation on Old Town Plaza, a two-building, 65,000-square-foot office park located at 2251 San Diego Avenue in the Old Town area of San Diego—a quaint area of town known for its restaurants and tourist attractions. The Casey Brown Company acquired the property in 2017.
Old Town Plaza is located minutes from the I-5, I-8, and CA-163 Freeways, providing immediate access to neighboring communities. It is also within walking distance to numerous hotels, retail, restaurants, and entertainment establishments. Also nearby are the city bus system, trolley system, and Amtrak’s Coaster.
Featuring Spanish style architecture, the renovation at Old Town Plaza includes new common-area corridors, conference room, kitchen, lobbies, and restrooms. It also features new landscaping and a courtyard.
JLL’s Richard Gonor, Tony Russell, and Brandt Riedman are leading the leasing efforts for Old Town Plaza. The property is able to accommodate a variety of requirements ranging from approximately 471 square feet to 3,266 square feet of contiguous space.
“Casey Brown has created a crown-jewel office environment in a thriving area of San Diego,” Gonor says. “It offers everything from collaborative space to amenities to nearby public transportation.”
